The 30th SHA/SKM Service Gold Award Ceremony took place on 8 November 2024 at voco Orchard Singapore, an IHG Hotel, with Mr. Alvin Tan, Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth & Trade and Industry as the Guest-of-Honour. SHA President, Mr. Kenneth Li, kicked off the ceremony with a warm welcome, setting the stage for a heartfelt celebration of kindness in hospitality.

This year, the spotlight was on extraordinary stories of kindness, as seen in the special video feature where three service staff shared personal and heartwarming experiences of going above and beyond for their guests. Jointly organized by the Singapore Hotel Association (SHA) and the  Singapore Kindness Movement (SKM), this annual award honours hotel employees who go the extra mile to make every interaction gracious and memorable. This year, 126 Service Gold Award winners and 3 Service Gold Outstanding Award winners from 77 hotels were recognized, along with 1 gracious guest who exemplified kindness towards service staff.
