The 24th Excellent Service Award – Star Presentation Ceremony was held on 26 November 2018 at the University Cultural Centre (UCC) Hall. It was a record-breaking year for SHA as the number of Star winners and participating organisations reached a new high!

This year, 3,209 winners comprising 935 Star, 1,027 Gold and 1,247 Silver winners from 132 participating organisations were recognised for their exemplary service in the hospitality sector.

Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Communications and Information & Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, Ms Sim Ann was the Guest-of-Honour at the event. In addition to delivering her Opening Address, Ms Sim Ann also presented trophies to 74 SHA Outstanding Star nominees and the winners from both the Hotel and Non-Hotel Sectors.
