Cheese Murtabak
INGREDIENTS
Dough (2 sets)
- 300g Plain Flour
- 1tsp Salt
- 170ml Water
- 250ml Oil
Chicken Filling
- 300g Minced chicken
- 30g Premixed meat curry powder
- 2 Chopped tomatoes
- 1 Chopped onion
- Garlic and ginger chopped
- Salt pepper to taste
- 2tbls Cooking oil
- 200g Mozzarella cheese
- Chili sauce
PREPARATION
Dough
- Mix flour, salt and water.
- Knead for 1 minute.
- Separate into 3-4 portions.
- Soak in cooking oil.
Chicken Filling
- Sauté garlic, ginger, onion and curry paste with oil until fragrant.
- Add minced chicken and stir for 3 minutes.
- Add chopped tomatoes.
- Season with salt and pepper, braise for 3 minutes.
- Set the filling aside.
Assembly
- Spread dough into thin circle.
- Add filling and top with cheese.
- Fold sides upwards to wrap the filling.
- Heat pan up with some oil, fry murtabak for 3 minutes on each side until crispy.
- Serve with chilli sauce.
