Organised by SHA, the biennial Singapore Hotel Sustainability Award Ceremony and Hotel Sustainability Marketplace this year took place on 8 October 2025 at Concorde Hotel Singapore.
SHA was honoured to have Mr Zaqy Mohamad, Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment and Ministry of Defence, who presented the awards to the winners.
The Singapore Hotel Sustainability Award is presented by SHA and is supported by the Building & Construction Authority (BCA), National Environment Agency (NEA), PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency, and Singapore Tourism Board (STB). The award is held once every two years and this will be the second time that it is being presented.
Revamped from the previous Singapore Green Hotel Award, the award recognises hotels that champion sustainable practices and initiatives in areas such as effective sustainable management, energy efficiency, water efficiency, waste management, and indoor air quality. The award criteria reflects the requirements developed by the internationally recognised Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) Certification and is aligned with Singapore’s first Hotel Sustainability Roadmap developed by SHA and STB.
