The FDAWU/NTUC/SHA “Employee of the Year Award” Ceremony for this year was held on 22 August 2025 at NTUC Centre, Stephen Riady Auditorium. The Guest-of-Honour for the event was Mr Alvin Tan, Minister of State for Trade and Industry, and National Development.

Launched in 1985, this longstanding award aims to encourage hotels to recognize outstanding staff for their excellent performance and contributions to organizational success. The award is open to all non-managerial (rank-and-file/executive) employees who have at least one year of continuous full-time service with the organization. Each hotel can nominate one employee to receive the award.

A total of 91 employees were awarded this year which is a new record high since the award was launched. Prior to the award ceremony, awardees attended a complimentary 1-hour workshop conducted by SHATEC titled “Responding to Guest Personas to Deliver a Delightful Guest Experience”.
